The Patient Who Fills Waiting Rooms...
Without Compromising Who You Are.
You have would-be patients deciding where to go to get rid of their back or neck pain.
They’ve tried everything with no lasting results. Make that decision easy with copy that sounds like them — from a patient who’s been on the same bench.
Take the first step toward filling your waiting room with your best patients.
I’m a Patient First
You're good at healing patients. But you're not sure why you can't help more of them — or keep the ones you have coming back.
As a current patient who chose chiropractic care because nothing else I tried worked for long, I have a good idea of what it takes to build trust.
In 2011, I was in my 2000 Camry waiting on an exit ramp, when WHHHAAAMMM! A lady distracted by her smartphone ran into our car’s rear end. The impact jostled my son and me, so we rushed to the hospital. Hospital staff couldn’t find any damage to our back or neck.
Weeks later, intense pain appeared. But this pain was like no other I had felt. It didn’t go away even with medicine. That’s when I asked family and friends for help. Ice, heat, stretching, massage balls, nothing helped for long.
My father-in-law mentioned chiropractic care. Although I heard horror stories about bad chiropractors in my lifetime, I trusted Dr. Barwick. That trust flowed because he was so laid-back. He diagnosed me with whiplash and explained my care plan.
I came back several times a week and got to be old friends with his rolling table.
On that table, looking up at the ceiling, I realized chiropractic care wouldn’t be just a one-and-done; it was a lifestyle choice. And I felt the desire and need to help others recognize the importance of spinal care and health.
That desire rested in me for years before I stumbled on the skills to act on it.
Teacher to Teller to Your Copy
As an overworked teacher at the time, I was about 30 pounds underweight. My body had nothing to absorb every jolt of that accident. Over time and with treatment and exercise, I got stronger. Soon, I was shooting baskets and walking three miles a day.
Later, I ended my public teaching career and homeschooled my autistic son.
Although employed at a bank, I found myself struggling with meeting sales quotas. I encountered a philosophical problem, high-pressure sales and marketing that made no sense. We were coming on strong with the pitch, yet there was zero interest from prospects. Our staff was basically a nuisance in the grocery store hallway.
It made no sense.
When the pandemic hit, with a wife with Crohn’s disease and living with her elderly parents, I left the financial industry. It was during this time that I rediscovered writing and discovered the buyer’s consideration journey. As I studied it, marketing was no longer a puzzle; it was a relationship. And that relationship led people toward booking at just the right time.
"Marketing was no longer a puzzle; it was a relationship."
And with this new skill of persuasive copy, I knew I could use my talents and my story to help two professions: chiropractic care and counseling. Counseling brought my wife back. But the field that impacted me most on a personal level was Dr. Barwick’s.
That’s why I’m here — a current chiropractic patient with conversion copywriting skills, ready to get your waiting room full with would-be patients who will love you, heal, and tell their friends and family all about their experience.

Why It Will Work for Your Practice
Your Diagnostic Isn't Something I Give You. It's a Work of Cooperation.
You know your practice better than I ever could. That’s why you and I are going to create the diagnostic together. This analysis will give you the info you need to see the whole picture — and the vocabulary to ask yourself the hard questions your practice needs answered.
As a reading specialist and former professor, I know that anything you discover yourself connects to your long-term memory in a way that advice handed over to you never does. You leave knowing your gaps — and owning your next steps.
By the end of our 35 minutes together, you’ll have:
- Identified the strong areas of your copy.
- Pinpointed where your messaging is losing would-be patients.
- Together, we'll get your focus on what needs your attention first.
- 5 specific action steps designed to help your practice — in your hand.
